With this round comes a new challenge. To the best of my knowledge, MAGS have never played at Bearsted Golf Club. Being a private members club the course should be in fabulous condition.

The final round of the season couldn't have gone much better... the course was in great condition, the weather was pleasant and the food was excellent. A big thanks to the staff at Beasted for hosting such a great day. Hopefully this will become a regular on our fixture list. An extra big thank you is also in order for the MAGS committee who do loads of work behind the scenes to make sure everything MAGS runs smoothly. A special mention to Brain and Tim for looking after the financials and organising the monthly events.
Now to the results... A good spread of winners for the nearest the pin prizes, well done to Geoff Mills for his nearset the pin on the 8th. The best guest prize went to Roy Gale who carded 34 points. 31 points was just enough to squeeze into the top 10 positions, well done Kev Warnken. The Division One prize went to Stewart Ryan with 32 points whilst Dave Elsworth scooped the Division 3 honour with 33 points. With this trend you'd think 37 points would be enough for the Division Two title, but the seconded placed overall Pete Tweddell was more than beaten to it, and the overall prize, by John Burbridge who scored a great 41 points!
This round brings our season to an end with the Champions League Title 2014/15 going to Pete Tweddell. Next month is the start of the new season at Broome Park where the AGM will also be held. Please do attend as the members opinions and participation is what makes MAGS a great soceity to be a part of.
