Captain's Match Report
A fresh dry sunny day welcomed us at Cobtree Manor for our first winter game. We had a few drop outs due to there being no buggies however there were 33 golfers who sat down to a hearty English breakfast before the first tee at 09:58 which was a later start than normal. The course was in good condition except for the amount of leaves which made it difficult if you strayed off the fairways, due to no buggies I could only make 9 holes however it was a pleasure to play with my vice captain Derek Reed and guest Gareth Pendleton who I'm hoping will join our happy band along with the other guests.
Our next venue is at Kings Hill on 15th December our Christmas game which everybody who is staying for the meal needs to bring a secret Santa gift wrapped, please get your names to Tim as soon as possible.
